Granular sub-base, also sold as crusher run, is the all-in material from a crushing unit - stone down to dust - that compacts into a stable layer under a road, paver block driveway or factory floor. CBR is above 30%, which is the figure that makes it acceptable as a sub-base and filling layer. Supplied per brass, per tonne or by the truck load; order extra if the layer thickness puts you close to the calculated quantity.
