High-strength TMT reinforcement bars
TMT bars are specified by diameter and grade. ASIF TRADERS supplies 6 mm, 8 mm, 10 mm, 12 mm, 16 mm, 20 mm, 25 mm and 32 mm bars in 12 m standard lengths. Rule of thumb for weight: 8 mm ≈ 0.39 kg/m, 10 mm ≈ 0.62, 12 mm ≈ 0.89, 16 mm ≈ 1.58, 20 mm ≈ 2.47, 25 mm ≈ 3.85 and 32 mm ≈ 6.32 kg/m.
Use 8–10 mm for stirrups, slabs and thin members; 12–16 mm for columns, beams and slabs of normal buildings; 20 mm and above for heavy foundations, plinth beams and large structures. Choose Fe 500/Fe 550 grade depending on your structural design — your engineer's drawing decides this, not the dealer.
