Plain cement sheets are the reinforced cement board used for dry wall partitioning, false ceilings, duct and shaft enclosures and mezzanine flooring. Available from 6 mm to 10 mm in 4x4 ft and 6x4 ft, they take screws, paint and tile, and hold up better than gypsum in wet or semi-exposed areas of a building. Heavier than fibre board, which is the trade-off for rigidity.
